Zohar Gilon, Managing Partner
, has extensive investment experience including activity as an angel investor, investment advisor to the Gilon Group and Managing Director of the Tamar I Fund. He has personally invested in over 45 start-ups and has achieved 13 exits. He has also served as the transaction manager for some of Israel's most highly recognized exits and has managed each deal from inception through completion, including pricing and distributions. From 1974 to 1993, Mr. Gilon served as a president of various companies representing major U.S. aerospace and electronics corporations. Between November 1993 and June 1995, Mr. Gilon served as President of W.S.P. Capital Holdings, an investment firm traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Mr. Gilon received a BSEE from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.
Thomas I. Unterberg, General Partner
, is the Co-founder and Senior Managing Partner of C.E. Unterberg, Towbin with over 40 years of investment banking experience. Mr. Unterberg has led IPOs of Intel, Compaq and Applied Materials, invested in Compaq and AES and has a legacy of underwriting Israeli high-tech companies beginning with the IPO of Scitex and including offerings for DSPC, Zoran, Optibase and Pharmos. Mr. Unterberg is a graduate of Princeton University and has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Naomi Rapoport, Controller and Information Director
, has been with Tamar Ventures since its inception. Prior to joining Tamar, she spent seven years as an analyst with Dun & Bradstreet Israel, where she was responsible for competitive business intelligence reports. Before joining D&B, she worked at the Henrietta Szold Institute Information Center as an information specialist. Ms. Rapoport received a BA from Tel Aviv University in political science and labor relations, and an MlS (with distinction) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
